Roger Fitchett wanted to thank everyone for joining in on the conference call.
Roger said he had received a lot of phone calls and e-mails from the members.
Members are under the impression that the Virginia B.A.S.S. Federation is going to join FLW. At this time it is not true but it is an option.
TBF, Inc. is and organization owned by the federations. Three years ago the presidents throughout the federations wanted this organization formed in case something did happen with BASS there would be something for the members to fall back on. This organization is not nor can be controlled by BASS.
TBF, Inc. would be a stand alone organization that would have its own insurance like BASS, their own federation tournaments, have divisional and maybe a championship tournament.
If the members decide to go with TBF the Virginia B.A.S.S. Federation would still have the Mr. Bass, Chapter Team Championship, Fall Classic and the Childrens Miracle Network tournaments.
If the members decide to go with TBF the National dues that are being collected by the federation would go to TBF.
An e-mail was sent to Joan Blankenship and to John Britton asking they communicate directly with BASS "we do not want information filtered through the presidents".
Andy Noel stated that is undermining the Presidents.
TBF, Inc. is writing a letter to the Presidents of each state with the topic of some talking points for their meetings
The federation will make sure that the youth for the CastingKids contest and Steve "Cheeseburger" Roberts will get to go to the Federation Championship in January and two junior contenders to attend the Bassmasters Junior World Championship in February.
There will be a stockholder meeting for TBF, Inc. in January Charlie Beale will attend that meeting and vote the way Virginia wants to go.
In the e-mail from Oklahoma State B.A.S.S. Federation sums up the problems that has been going on with BASS. Please read it this will answer a lot of questions.
The quotes made by Dean Kessel and Ray Scott can be backed up by tape recordings or by the minutes taken at the meetings.
Gary Jones from BASS has contacted all the Presidents in each division and would like to set up a conference call.
The 2007 raffle boat will still be $9,000.00 with the upgrade of the boat.
At this time Yamaha has not contacted Roger.
The breakdown of the $15.00 dues to National are $6.00 for insurance, $6.00 for the payback at the divisional and $3.00 for expenses for the divisional and Federation Championship.
The TBF will be meeting with Erwin Jacobs next week.
Vice President- Everyone has a positive attitude to go with TBF.
