The question was asked could the motion in the minutes about each region director taking the information back to their region on the latest dues issue between ESPN/BASS with a decision to be made if the federation wanted to join TBF, Inc. be made clearer. All the directors agreed that a vote should be taken first on what the regions wanted to do.

A vote was taken as follows. Yes, meaning that the region wants to go with TBF, Inc.

Region 1 – Yes Region 6 - Yes

Region 2 – No Region 7 – Abstain

Region 3 – Yes Region 8 – Yes

Region 4 – Abstain Region 9 – Yes

Region 5 – Yes Region 10 – No

Some of the directors were concerned that there was not enough information on TBF, Inc. and it was hard for the members to understand and make a decision. . Also, the concern was the dission had to be made so quickly.

Many of the directors did not know that TBF had By-laws and a checking account. It was stated that copies of the By-laws for TBF, Inc. should have been made and passed out. Roger apologized for not making copies.

There was questions ask about sponsor money that went to TBF, Inc. that the federation had no knowledge of and how that money was spent. Roger explained that most of the money was paid to state federations for ads in their newsletter and website.

There is concern that at the January board meeting someone could come in and take over as President, Vice President, etc. Should the board have a plan in case this happens?

Roger was asked if he could provide a financial statement for TBF, Inc. Roger said he would check with the treasurer of TBF, Inc.

Each region is to send Ann Dalton a list of clubs going with TFB, Inc and with BASS. As soon as possible.

Motion by Region 10, seconded by Region 1 to adjourn. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote.
